Media Ministry
Communicating the Life of the Church with Clarity and Responsibility
The Media Ministry supports the mission of the Church by communicating the life, events, and pastoral initiatives of Syro-Malabar communities in Europe in a clear, timely, and responsible manner.
All modern means are used for informing the faithful about the events and endeavours of the community.
- Inform the faithful about liturgical schedules, announcements, and community activities
- Promote unity across regions and Mass Centres
- Preserve and share Syro-Malabar spiritual and cultural identity
- Encourage participation in parish and Apostolic Visitation initiatives
Communication Channels
Modern communication tools are used to reach the faithful effectively, including:
- Website
- Email / letters
- Flyers & posters
- Bulletins
- Souvenirs
- Leaflets
Values and Guidelines
- Truthfulness and clarity in communication
- Respect for persons and communities
- Pastoral sensitivity and unity with the Church
- Careful handling of announcements and images (especially children)
Collaboration
The Media Ministry works closely with Apostolic Visitation coordinators, priests, parish and Mass Centre leadership, ministries, and event coordinators to ensure consistent and accurate communication.
Call to Serve
Faithful with skills in writing, design, photography, video, social media, or web management are encouraged to offer their talents in service of the Church through the Media Ministry.
