Liturgy
Syro-Malabar Liturgical Life in Europe

The liturgy is the heart and summit of the life of the Church. For the Syro-Malabar Church, the liturgy is not merely ritual action but the living expression of faith, theology, and ecclesial identity rooted in the East-Syriac tradition. Within the Apostolic Visitation for the Syro-Malabar faithful in Europe, the Liturgy Ministry ensures that the Holy Qurbana and all liturgical celebrations are conducted faithfully according to the officially approved liturgical texts and norms of the Syro-Malabar Church, preserving unity, reverence, and authenticity across all communities.
Vision
To safeguard, promote, and faithfully celebrate the Syro-Malabar liturgical heritage so that the faithful may participate consciously, actively, and fruitfully in the mystery of salvation.
Mission
- Ensure faithful celebration of the Holy Qurbana according to approved Syro-Malabar texts and rubrics
- Preserve the theological, spiritual, and ritual integrity of the East-Syriac tradition
