​Malta: From June 8th to 12th, 2026, the venerable halls of the Archbishop’s Seminary in Malta hosted the Euroclero summit, uniting the Syro-Malabar clergy across Europe for a transformative week of spiritual renewal and communal learning. Guided by the Apostolic Visitator, Mar Stephen Chirappanath, and skillfully coordinated by Father Jophy Varuvelil with the dedicated assistance of Father Rogen Nelpurakkal, the assembly embarked on an enriching journey of ongoing formation. The event commenced with a deeply moving recollection led by Father Matthew Kakkattupillil VC, followed by a profound pilgrimage tracing the footsteps of Saint Paul across Malta and Gozo. The summit deepened its focus through insightful symposiums on pastoral leadership and authentic accompaniment within the diaspora, led by the psychological and theological reflections of Father Jo Kiriyanthan and Father Joy Philip Kakkanatt. Supported by the fraternal guidance of priests like Father Clement Padathiparambil, Father Babu Pannattuparambil, and Father Binoj Mulavarickal, this gathering served as a brilliant testament to the enduring faith and vibrant future of the Syro-Malabar Church in Europe.
